based christian rockers Echelon follow up "the snocamp sessions" with "All
Good Things" a title that refers to the saying "all good things come to
an end".
Yes,
unfortunatly this is Echelon's last album. However what Echelon is leaving
us with is their finest album. All Good Things .. captures Echelon in their
finest hour. From the beautiful harmonies of the opener "Free" on throught
the infectious "Superstar" and Our Lady Peace esque "Rosemary". Echelon
even finds time for a sensitive reworking of one of their early hits ("Kneel").
Echelon was quite succesful having toured extensively in Canada, Turkey
and Kazakhstan and it is a shame that the lads decided to go their seperate
ways but lead singer/guitarist Rob Carter atleast is still doing quite
well having won best musical act at The Buskers Rendevous this past summer.
I don't listen to christian music that often these days but this cd is
constantly in my cd player.
I'm
going to go out on a limb and say that this is my all time christian album
and a must have for any fan of the genre. Even if you aren't a fan of christian
music check this one else ... you may think of it differently afterward.
Fot those of you out there who don't know ...there are many great christian
acts out there playing eveything from metal and punk to rap and folk. This
ain't your grandma's gospel music.
