much more.
[Chris]

and what instruments everyone plays.
[Keith]
Members are: Nathan Yetter - Guitar/Vocals, Keith Daigle - Bass Guitar/Backing
Vocals, Jay Hopkins - Guitar/Backing Vocals and Rob Baker - Drums
[Chris]
How long have you been together as a band?
[Keith]
As this band, we have been together since 2000.
[Chris]
Is their a story on how or why you selected "Revmatic" as your band name
and what genre of music would you place yourself in?
[Keith]
Well, I don't have a "Cool" story about the band name, I was flipping through
an office furniture catalog at work and came across a chair called "Revmatic",
a few days later when we were trying to come up with a new band name I
mentioned "Revmatic". After sifting through all the names we had
we stuck with this one. As for the genre I would group us in Hard Rock/Metal.
[Chris]
Revmatic has recorded and produced their third studio album. Tell us briefly
about your past two cds then give us the scoop on this new record.
[Keith]
Well in 2002 we released are self titled disk which had fan favorites "Two
Feet Away" and "Ilene" The album had a nice pop/Hard rock feel to it. Then
in 2004 we came out with Ghetto Blaster. Ghetto Blaster was an awesome
project and we definitely grew as a band with that album. Our song writing
as a group was improving, at least in our minds. Now we are set to release
our new disk called "Cold Blooded Demon". It took over a year to piece
the "right" songs together, but we all came out of it like excited and
happy. This album by far, again in our minds, is the best work to date
that we wrote as a band. It is heavier, we have definitely drawn from our
influences and again writing these songs as a band has made us stronger.
I feel there is a lot of hits on this album and our fans will not be disappointed.
[Chris]
When and where was the album recorded?
[Keith]
We recorded the album over a time span of 8 Months, starting back in April,
2007. We recorded it with Jef Vandertoght at his studio in Wooler, Ontario.
[Chris]
What will listeners find different on Cold Blooded Demon than in your previously
recorded songs?
[Keith]
It will be heavier, faster, well structured songs. The songs have a nice
modern edge with a that Metal flare. Again our fans will notice a difference
from our first album to this one.
[Chris]
With the new band line-up and more life experience did you find the songwriting
for the new cd any different than before?
[Keith]
With Jay joining the band, it definitely added a refreshing perspective
to the song writing. Most of the work we had we did without Jay but
the songs felt more complete once Jay came along.
[Chris]
Have you performed any of the new songs live?
[Keith]
Yes we have. It is hard for us to contain them, they need to be heard by
the masses, LOL
[Chris]
When and where can fans expect an official Cold Blooded Demon cd launch
event and how can they pick-up their own copy of the cd?
[Keith]
Well, we just received the prototype yesterday from print. So we will go
over everything and I would expect our first shipment of CD's in the new
year. Our fans can "Officially" pick up the new disc at our CD Release
Party. It will be Saturday, February 23 2008 at Smijies in Kingston, Ontario.
The details of the show are not finalized yet but you can check our website
for the latest (www.revmatic.com),
also we will sell our CD from our site, other online sites and local retail
stores.
[Chris]
After the launch party, will Revmatic be able to tour in support of the
new cd?
[Keith]
A tour is in the planning. We will definitely push this CD as much as possible.
[Chris]

television and music has launched the chance of a lifetime. One of the
wildest, interactive events of the year is Bodog Music Battle of the Bands
and Revmatic is part of it.
